This 8-week education program is offered at no cost to participants and is nationally developed and federal agency approved. NAMI Family-to-Family not only provides information and strategies for taking care of the person you love, but you'll also find out that you're not alone. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.

The group setting provides mutual support and shared positive impact—experience compassion and reinforcement from other family members who have been trained to become instructors as a result of taking this course themselves. Sharing your own experience may help others in your class. In the program, you'll learn about:

  •  Introduction to NAMI Family to Family
  • Understanding Mental Health Conditions and Preparing for a Crisis
  • Getting a Mental Health Diagnosis and Sharing our Stories
  • Overview of Mental Health Conditions
  • Treatment Options
  • Communication Skills and Problem Solving
  • Empathy and Recovery
  • Moving Forward

Many describe this program as life changing. Join the thousands of families who have gained information, insight, understanding and empowerment from attending this signature program.
